I'm just a 25 year old girl with 6 cats. I had a whole paragraph typed up but my kitten Jin stepped on my laptop and deleted it all. I did not start the previous one off by stating that I have 6 cats but it felt appropriate, being as I had to start completely over. Anywhoo, let me tell you a bit about myself!
things i collect
I collect vhs tapes and retro video games, as well as vintage jewelry boxes and trinkets. I was only born 25 years ago…that sounds like a long time now that I say it out loud…but it doesn’t feel that long ago.
Oh, here comes another cat laying on my arms. This time it’s Tika, she’s very needy and jealous of my laptop. But not to worry, I'm on guard now. What was I saying? Oh yeah, it's hard to believe that items from my childhood are now considered vintage and retro. I have to recollect things that were lost many years ago, but I have of course obtained things I never once had.
I enjoy going thrifting because you never know what you’ll find from the past. It's always a fun experience, even if I don't find anything that I would personally purchase.
meet the cats
I guess I could explain why I have 6 cats. Well my husband and I only had 2 at first, Midnight and Tika. We moved and a grey kitten hung around our apartment and we fed and watered her outside. A year went by and she became pregnant. We took her in and named her Esmé. She had 3 kittens and we decided to keep them all!

So that’s how I ended up with 6 cats. The kittens are only 4 months old and full of energy, so there’s never a dull moment with them.
